It is neither an adaptation of a generic CMS nor hotel software: it was developed from the ground up to meet the specific needs of Italian campsites, including regulatory obligations such as the electronic submission of guest information through Alloggiati Web.
Who develops OVVO Camping
OVVO Camping è sviluppato da SeoSoft, un'impresa individuale fondata da Federico Cassani, specializzata in software gestionali su misura per strutture ricettive italiane.
The team consists of three people: Federico Cassani (lead developer, full-stack TypeScript and IoT), Marco Cassani (backend, APIs, and integrations), and Luca (frontend, UX, and design system).
Support is provided in Italian by email and WhatsApp. SeoSoft is based in Trani (BT), Italy.

Guests complete registration before arrival via Magic Link. Document OCR via OpenAI Vision (requires the customer's API key). The operator supervises the process before submission.
Alloggiati Web
Generation of the 168-character ministerial record and submission to the Polizia di Stato through the official SOAP Web Service. PDF receipt archived automatically.
Interactive map
Real-time display of each pitch's status: available, occupied, reserved, or under maintenance. Assignment via drag & drop and opening the guest record from the map.
Dynamic pricing
Seasons, weekends, holidays, supplements, and automatically calculated tourist tax. Refundable and non-refundable rates configurable by pitch type.
iCal synchronization
.ics feed for pitches or accommodations compatible with Airbnb, Booking.com, Google Calendar, and others. Synchronization typically occurs every 15 minutes to 24 hours, depending on the portal.
Email automation
Automatic sequence of pre- and post-stay emails (confirmation, Magic Link, reminders, post-stay) in 5 languages, with custom SMTP on the campsite's domain.
Maintenance management
Issue tickets with priority and assignment to the maintenance technician. The pitch is blocked in the booking engine during the work and unblocked upon closure.
Reporting
Real-time occupancy dashboard, automatic daily PDF register, historical statistics, and complete JSON export.
Security and backup
AES-256 encryption at rest, HTTPS/TLS in transit, MFA authentication, CSRF protection, and automatic backups. GDPR compliant.
Hardware integrations
Connect the management system to compatible devices through supported APIs and protocols, after a technical review of the installation.

Document OCR and Video Verification
They require an OpenAI API key supplied by the customer, with costs separate from OVVO's according to OpenAI rates.
Alloggiati Web
It requires credentials for the Polizia di Stato's Alloggiati Web portal, issued by the territorially competent Questura.
Online payments
They require the campsite's Stripe or PayPal account. Transaction costs depend on direct contracts with the providers.
iCal synchronization
The update frequency depends on the third-party portal. OVVO Camping does not guarantee real-time synchronization on OTA channels.
Hardware integrations
Barriers, ANPR cameras, EV charging stations, smart locks: compatibility depends on the model, firmware, and installation configuration. A preliminary technical verification is always required.
WhatsApp and SMS communications
They require a separate WhatsApp Business API or Twilio account, with costs borne by the operator.

Does OVVO Camping work without installation?
Yes. OVVO Camping is entirely cloud-based: all you need is a browser, with no local installations, VPNs, or manual updates. It works on computers, tablets, and smartphones.
How many pitches can I manage?
The Standard plan supports up to 20 pitches, while the Professional plan supports up to 40. For facilities with more than 40 pitches, the Custom plan is available with a dedicated quotation.
Does digital check-in require configuration?
Yes. The OCR module requires an OpenAI API key supplied by the customer. The SeoSoft team assists with configuration during the initial setup included in the plan.
Is iCal synchronization real-time?
No. Updates depend on how frequently third-party portals (Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.) request the feed. Typically every 15 minutes to 24 hours.
Are hardware integrations included in the subscription?
Standard software integrations (iCal, payments) are included. Dedicated hardware integrations are assessed and quoted based on the installation and device compatibility.
How is Alloggiati Web activated?
The SeoSoft team configures the connection to the Polizia di Stato portal during setup. The facility's Alloggiati Web credentials are required (issued by the competent Questura).
