The obligation to communicate information to public security authorities derives from the TULPS (Consolidated Text of Public Security Laws, RD 773/1931) and was modernized with the Alloggiati Web portal of the Ministero dell'Interno. Since 2012, communication has been carried out exclusively online.
Submission deadlines
- Stays of at least 24 hours: communication within the 24 hours following the physical arrival (not from the booking).
- Stays shorter than 24 hours: communication must be made upon arrival.
- Important: the deadline is calculated with reference to the actual check-in time, not the scheduled time.

Integration with Ovvo Camping
Ovvo Camping prepares data in the format required by the official Alloggiati Web Web Services. Data is pre-filled by OCR at check-in. The operator reviews and confirms it before each transmission. The system indicates the submission outcome and, in the event of an error, allows the operation to be repeated.
⚠ Failure to communicate this information may entail criminal liability pursuant to art. 109 TULPS, not merely an administrative offense. The extent of the consequences depends on the specific case. Using software does not transfer responsibility for fulfilling the obligation to the provider; it remains with the facility operator.
